Objectives

Students who complete this course successfully will:

  • Identify the benefits of exercise and Pilates for postnatal individuals and understand how to safely support their recovery and fitness goals.
  • Recognize and manage common postnatal concerns, such as incontinence, prolapse, upper body tightness, low back pain, and postural alignment challenges.
  • Understand lumbopelvic control and its role in postnatal recovery and functional movement.
  • Develop and structure thoughtful postnatal Pilates sessions, including Baby + Me classes and combined prenatal/postnatal sessions, tailored to individual and group needs.
  • Conduct effective postnatal assessments to track recovery and progression.
